Yoga Instructor, Dog Lover, Numbers Enthusiast
Emma has been practising yoga for ten years, and qualified as a yoga teacher in 2017. After some time juggling community yoga classes with her day job (teaching Mathematics in a boarding school), she took the leap into freelancing.
Emma teaches public yoga classes in Dorset and Somerset, classes for older teenagers at a local school, and also offers private sessions. She also runs monthly workshops, exploring a more advanced sequence or yoga pose, or a particular area of the practice. She works hard to support local businesses, projects and events, and is a member of Sherborne Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Sherborne Indies.
Yoga is Emma’s passion, hobby, stress-reliever and favourite form of exercise, but teaching yoga is also Emma’s full-time job, her career, and her sole income stream. One of Emma’s key areas of interest is how to promote her business and achieve commercial success in a way that is authentic, mindful and in-line with yogic principles and ideas.
